This necklace holder is made of plantation grown Lace wood with a Cherry knob. The top rotates using the knob. It holds 12 necklaces and is 13 inches high, has a 10 inch hang length, the base is 4.5 inches diameter. A very beautiful yet sturdy design. Tung oil finish.
The top of the necklace holder is built with a cross grain gluing process where the wood is glued with the grain
perpendicular to the other piece in layers.
Each tip that the necklace hangs on has wood grain running in both directions.
This makes the tips strong so they can hold even a heavy string of pearls as shown in the pictures.
The piece is sanded smooth, then a hand rubbed tung oil finish is applied.
