All of us at Twig Soup belive in conservation and management of natural resources, a long term focus.
The pillage and destroy today so I can eat tomorrow will never sustain us or our earth, of which there is only one.
We do our best to purchase wood from suppliers that harvest from managed family farms or managed tree plantations.
All of our domestic woods come from managed tree farms. Some of our exotic woods also come from managed plantations.
We try to buy our woods from sources that are FSC certified or have similar certifications or display good tree conservation.
Tracebility is difficult, to say otherwise would be a lie. We do the best we can.
Efficient resource use, not excessive waste, is our goal in all we create.
We try to support businesses and organizations that promote nature and do the best we can to purchase our materials
from responsible sources. We also strive to reduce wood waste in our business, we find it difficult to throw away
even the smallest scraps so even these are kept for possible use in another creation.
